We are so excited to share that we are expecting a baby In September! We found out shortly after Christmas that we were pregnant...very unexpectedly! I am thrilled, nervous and ready all wrapped up into one huge and wonderful emotion! I can't express the feeling of gratefulness I have for all of my family and sweet friends that are by my side...and such a calming influence in my life! We just had our 12 week check-up today and we are doing and feeling just great! I have a c-section scheduled for September 10Th...which is kinda weird to already know this babies birthday...considering I don't even know Boy or Girl yet!
Lots of people have asked "how have you been? Sick?" The answer.. Yes! But every morning I woke up throwing up for hours on end....I would get down on my knees and Thank my Heavenly Father for the Healthy little baby inside! Its amazing in times like this to see your true friends and those who love you, come and lend support and prayers. I will always remember the week we found out we were pregnant. I told a few select friends and family members. I remember as I called and told them of our news, the tears that were shed and the promise from them to keep us in their prayers. Most of them found out the Saturday before fast Sunday in January...and held a fast for us and the sweet baby we hoped to have.
I can't say that even at 12 weeks we are all in the clear, and everything is going to be okay. But after 5 miscarriages I do have some hope that this little baby will come when he/she is suppose to. I can't say enough how thankful I am for family and friends that support when times are hard, and pray for times to be better. So thanks to you, and the faith you have shared, we continue to have hope!
